This is What Bravery Looks Like

This brave woman took down her abuser, years later, and now it’s viral. There may be no justice because of the statute of limitations, but Jamie effectively removed this women from ever being in a classroom with young people again. This is such a great story. Click HERE for more.

Here’s her You Tube video with the whole conversation with her abuser:

Inexpensive Bruce concert downloads coming! (My Morning Jacket too..)

Per Backstreets Magazine: Download problem solved!

Backstreets has just confirmed that, in addition to the USB wristband sales model, Springsteen will also be offering direct audio downloads through his official Live Nation online store following each show on the upcoming leg, with no physical purchase required. There will be two options for audio formats: MP3 (320 kbps) or FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec). Pricing will match Pearl Jam’s, at $9.99 for MP3 or $14.99 for FLAC. Hard to say fairer than that.

Click HERE is some additional info from Rolling Stone.

The band My Morning Jacket is also getting into the concert download business. Click HERE for more info.

PA Governor Tom Corbett spread the hate

Pennsylvania governor Tom Corbett: another homophobic bigot, comparing homosexual marriage to brothers & sisters marrying. The Christian right and the Tea Bagger Party are the most dangerous internal forces at work in our country today. They disgust me and frighten me, but in the end, fanatics always lose in the US of A, because despite of our widely varying views, we have always been able to rise about racism, religion, and mythology: the Civil Rights Acts, women’s right to vote, and so on. Whomever these Godly groups hate and want to put down eventually are given the opportunity to rise. THAT is why we’re the greatest nation on Earth, no other reason. We declared from the beginning that all men are created equal, and we continue to strive towards that ideal.
