Clarice & Hannibal’s 30th anniversary (on film)

It’s the 30th anniversary of The Silence of the Lambs (the film)…

Whedon & Johns

Wow, Joss Whedon & Geoff Johns are real asshats. I’ve heard rumblings about Whedon for a while (on Buffy, Firefly, Avengers), but not about Johns, who started out as a comic book writer. (He’s still one today.)

At least the 4-hour Zac Snyder version of Justice League erases the foul taste of Whedon’s sugar pops version.

Zac Snyder’s Proposed Five-Part Trilogy

An interesting look of what might have been if Zak Snyder had been allowed to finish his “five-part trilogy”…
SPOILERS AHEAD – if you haven’t yet watched the 4-hour Zak Snyder’s Justice League, read no further!

And a nice Chianti

If you are a fan of The Silence of the Lambs, this dual interview with Jodie Foster & Anthony Hopkins will thrill you. I had forgotten that it had swept the Oscars: Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director, & Adapted Screenplay.

Zac Snyder’s Justice League

Joss Whedon’s Justice League was a mess, enjoyable only if you ignored the jarring shifts in tone that were the result of Whedon taking over from original director Zac Snyder.
But in March on HBO-MAX, the 4-hour Zac Snyder cut of the film (including newly filmed scenes) will debut, and I’m excited. I’m not a huge DC guy, but Batman is my favorite superhero, and I love my future wife Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. I could do less with surfer dude Aquaman, but you take the good with the bad. At least we’ll get one more shot at seeing Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne.
